Flicker in the wind is a canopy that has three functions: To provide shade during the day, light at night, and harnesses wind energy all day long. During the day it provides shade from the sun while at night it is a light beacon under which people could wait for the bus etc. Ideally the canopy would replace all bus stands and not depend on the grid to power itself. It harnesses energy in much the same way that a windmill harness energy. It uses the wind around us to move the blades. Ideally each unit would harness energy.

A few prototypes of the modules.
