My friends call me Mi Cha El La. I am a Bronx based designer and currently live in Brooklyn. As an undergraduate at Cornell University I studied architecture and visual studies. From there my experiences have involved working on large scale projects like the National September 11 Memorial Museum and the Columbia University Manhattanville Development to photographic narratives about the city, places, and people.
I am currently a second year Masters student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Interactive Telecommunications Program/ITP. There I explore interest in reactivating peripheral city edges with interactive community based projects that use technology and sustainable measures to address issues affecting our urban cities.
